Hello Guys! Here is an update from Soup...

2016 Travel log

January 1-16 - West Africa
Burkina Faso and Niger

Departed the airport Memphis TN. - 12 noon - January 1
Arrive at lodging in Ouagadogou, Burkina Faso - 25-1/2 hours of travel later on

January 2
Bed down

Up @ 7am - January 3
Depart Ouagadougou @ 10:30am

Travel 13-1/2 Hours (320 kilometers) - (192miles) By automobile (dusty/pot hole roads) to the village Nadiabonli

Started a 5 day teaching venue on January 4th - 8am - 5pm.
Daily - Medical clinics at night.

We are living in mud huts and showering under the stars using wood fire warmed water (off the chain man) with the opportunity to train and equip (95 couples) (only 5 singles) in a 2yr residential

Program - all very receptive and eager to receive the teaching and obey the Word of God.

Pray Requests:
1. Strength for the team in the travel weariness and jet lag
2. Opening of eyes and ears and illumination of the heart
3. That the Translation will be precise and correct
4. Linda Campbell, Malinda McIntire ,Amanda Farmer as they teach the ladies
5. Dr. Michael Farmer, Dr.Shaun McIntire & 4th yr. Medical Student Tim Boswell
As they teach by day and do medical clinics at night partnering with a Dr. and team from Ouagadougou.
6. The directors of the school
Dr. Joel Thiombiano , Dr. John Lompo, Dr. Moses Lankaonde
7. The kids (strong diligent servants and workers) who chase down our meal everyday (chickens) and prepare them for consumption and gather firewood and tote water for cooking and bathing.
